Yet another successful semester!

Another successful semester over! We’re taking a short rest now from the project during the semester break. When school re-opens, we’ll work with a new batch of students for yet another exciting adventure!! Thank you so much for all your support!

Oh! If you have any unused (but functioning of course!) digital camera or books/magazines on photography, feel free to donate them to the project! We’re currently searching for cameras (especially) for the next batch of students. Let us know!! :)

If you would like to volunteer for the project next semester (August onwards), send a message to us on our FACEBOOK PAGE or just email us. Click the volunteer page to see what you can do :)

If you can’t volunteer, you can definitely help the project through various donation or sponsorship! Click the donation/sponsorship page.

Thank you so much for reading!!!!

Have a great week ahead!

Fellow CPU student and Everyone Has Hope team mate, Dana, wrote an excellent piece in The Malaysian Insider about refugees living in Malaysia.

Read his article and don’t forget to drop a comment too! :)

This is a video on a campaign to give a voice to refugees living in Malaysia. We urge the Malaysian government (and governments every where) to #RECOGNIZETHEM, recognize their existence in this country and sign the 1951 Convention relation to the Status of Refugees.

Without this ratification, Malaysia is able to deport, detain and arrest those who seek refuge in this land.

There are an estimated 100,000+ refugees living in Malaysia.
They cannot attend public school.
They cannot get legal employment.
They have to LIVE IN FEAR.

Refugees who live in Malaysia are being treated as illegal immigrants. THIS HAS TO STOP! They came here for a new beginning, so let us give them one.

Malaysians, it’s time for us to #RECOGNIZETHEM.

Let’s make this video viral! Share the video, tweet about the movement and like the Facebook page.
